Glucosamine 1000 mg and Chondroitin Sulfate 134 mg are substances found naturally in the body. Glucosamine is a form of amino sugar that is believed to play a role in cartilage formation and repair. Chondroitin Sulfate is part of a large protein molecule (proteoglycan) that gives cartilage elasticity.
Studies have shown that a combination of Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate reports pain relief at a level similar to that of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as aspirin and ibuprofen; slow cartilage damage in people with osteoarthritis.
MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane 100 mg –Research suggests that MSM has anti-inflammatory properties, as well as providing allergy relief, immune system enhancement, strengthening of hair, nails, and joints, and much more. MSM is necessary for collagen synthesis of skin, hair and nails.
Vitamin C 40 mg – Maintains collagen tissue helps heal wounds, scar tissue, and fractures. It gives strength to blood vessels; important for immune resistance and the effects of stress.
Manganese (Manganese Amino Acid Chelate) 5.4 mg -– Important for skeletal development and formation of blood; needed for the formation of healthy cartilage and bone.
